Sony and LibreDigital has entered into a content delivery deal whereby the later will be delivering digital newspapers and magazines such as New York Times, The New Yorker and PC Magazine. The Sony device which will get these content is the newly released Reader Daily Edition.

Oppo Enjoy E-Reader Full Specs
Here’s another e-book reader running on Android OS – the OPPO Enjoy E-Book Reader. Aside from running on Android OS, this device boasts of a 6-inch 800×600 e-ink display with 16 shades of gray, 2GB of storage and microSD card slot that supports up to 16GB of storage.
The Oppo Enjoy E-Book Reader supports TXT, HTML, CHM, EPUB, PDF, Microsoft files including doc, xls, and ppt. It can also render jpg, jpeg, bmp, png, GIF as well as playback mp3, wma, wav, ogg, aac and flac audios.
The device battery can max you out 8000 page turns. Pricing and release date is still unknown.

Samsung E6 E-Reader Available in the US this Spring
Remember the Samsung E6 E-Reader which was previewed during the CES 2010 in January? Well, it’s heading to the U.S. market pretty soon, Spring soon actually. And guess what? Samsung was able to snag an e-book content distribution deal with Barnes and Noble.

Runwei A50 is a e-Book Reader with LED Display
Having a LED display instead of e-ink is one of the reason why the Apple iPad may not be fit for long period of reading e-books. But this didn’t seem to stop the makers of the Runwei A50 device which is designed for ebook reading and yet does not utilize e-paper.
But if you can bear the eye strain may cost you, you might want to consider this e-book reader. It is running on a 500Mhz ARM9 processor, has 5-inch display in 800×480 touchscree, 2 GB of RAM and running on Windows CE OS.
In addition, the Runwei A50 supports TXT, HTML, PDF, WORD, XLS, PPT, ZIP, CHM, UMD.It can also display videos, audios, and pictures.
It seems like a pretty cool device, right? Un fortunately, there are no words on pricing and availability yet.

Sony Offers Up Free E-Books for All Mothers Who Buy Their E-Reader
With Mother’s Day approaching, Sony is offering a special gift for buyers of the Sony PRS-300 Reader until March 14. Sony is giving away free e-books ready to be loaded to the E-Reader. Asus DR-950 Eee Reader Shows Up at CeBIT
The folks at Engadget managed to get a quick hands-on of the much awaited Asus E-reader device, which is now officially called the Asus DR-950 E-Reader. The DR-950 sports a 9-inch SIPIX panel and features Wi-Fi, 3G option and multitouch feature.
This is in addition to what has been known so far about this e-reader namely, 4GB of storage, 3.5mm headphone jack, and support for various formats including PDF, TXT, MP3 and ePUB.
