Asus Eee Reader Will Have WiMAX, 3G and Wi-Fi Features

Here we have some more juicy details about the upcoming Asus Eee Reader. According to some Asus executives, the Eee Reader will be embedded with 3G, Wi-Fi and WiMAX mobile technologies.

Asus is also determined to make its entrance to the flourishing ebook market as it plans to introduced the Eee Reader in Europe and the U.S., the earliest date would be sometime in March 2010.

And as we told you before, the first models of the Asus Eee Reader will first be offered to charities before Asus fully commercialize the Eee Reader. Of course Asus will be releasing the Eee Reader at a very competitive price since it will be going up against Amazon Kindle, Sony PRS Reader and just recently Barnes & Nobles’ Nook.
