Another eBook Reader on Android Platform in the Works

By 2010, we might be seeing another ebook reader running on the Android Platform as network equipment maker Netronix is said to be negotiating with Texas Instruments.  Netronix is aiming to ship one million units of said Android-powered ebook reader by 2010.

According to a Digitimes report, the said Netronix Android-powered ebook reader will be able to interoperate with Android-powered handsets or other embedded devices. Netronix is also planning to embed 3G or 3.5G modules to the said ebook reader.

In case you’re not aware, Netronix is currently releasing around 30,000-60,000 units of ebook readers in the 4th quarter of 2009 alone.

Looks like 2010 is going to be the year of ebook readers. Aren’t you all excited?
