Kindle is the #1 Bestselling, Most Wished for, and Most Gifted Product, Says Amazon

Amazon didn’t need to offer the Kindle at a special Black Friday and Cyber Monday price for the ereader to become the retailer’s #1 Bestselling, Most Wanted and Most Gifted Amazon product to date.  In fact the whole month of November was the Kindle’s best month this 2009.

Perhaps what made this possible was Amazon’s decision to release the Kindle International version. This has certainly added to the lackluster sale of the ereader in the U.S. market this year having reached sales plateau in the market already.

Ian Freed, Amazon Kindle’s VP said that the ereader is a great gift for those who loves to read and it has been selling like hotcakes among the many Amazon products.

“We’re seeing lots of people buying from one to a handful of Kindles as gifts for friends or family, as well as many businesses and other organizations buying Kindles in large quantities for their employees or customers,” says Mr. Freed.
