BeBook Neo E-Reader Relies Heavily on Wi-Fi

A new 6-inch e-book reader just made it ready for public consumption – the Bebook Neo from the company called Endless Ideas. Well, it seemed that the company indeed never runs out of ideas as exhibited by the BeBook Neo e-reader.

Well for one thing, the said e-reader relies heavily on Wi-Fi for Internet connectivity purposes. And then you would use that Internet connectity to connect not to its own content partners but will instead direct you to other sites where you can possibly source out your e-book reading materials.

In addition, the BeBook Neo also says that the e-reader will have quick access to Google and Wikipedia on the go. I could understand the Google part because of the freely available e-books on Google Book Catalog. But for Wikipedia?

Anyway, the Bebook Neo e-reader has a 6-inch display and features 7000 page turns battery life. It also has a Wacom touch panel that supports touchscreen manipulation of the e-books as well as support for various e-book formats.

It is available for pre-order now for  £279.
