The makers of Alex e-Reader and Borders.com has just agreed on a deal that will put Borders.com on a prominent location in the e-Reader’s homescreen. Probably as an application.
This will boost Borders’ clout, that is if Alex e-Reader manages to successfully conquer a large part of the e-reader market. As for Alex e-Reader, the deal will give them an advantage over competitors who don’t have a tie-up with e-book dealers. This is one reason why major e-book readers are leading the pack, so it is a must feature for e-book readers to prosper.
