Lenovo’s E-Book Reader Confirmed, Sort of
Last December, the rumor about Lenovo releasing its own e-reader went around the web. After that, the rumor simply died down, until now. It seems that the Lenovo e-book reader is getting ready for prime time via a Chinese release called – Tianji IBook EB-605.
The Tianji iBook EB-605 sport a 6-inch e-paper display, 400MGHz Samsung ARM CPU, and support for various e-book format – DF, CHM, EPUB, TXT, HTM, HTML, RTF, PDF, DJVU, MOVI and PRC ebooks.
It seems that it will also support 3G connectivity as you can see from the appearance of the SIM icon at the top of the screen.
Other info points to a price tag of around $300. I certainly hope so.
