Two Asus e-Book Readers Coming Up in Q2 2010

Alright, here’s the latest news about the Asus E-Book Readers coming from a report from Digitimes. According to the report, Asus will come out with 2 e-book readers – the DR-57 (6-inch) and DR-950 (9-inch). Both these e-book readers will be loaded with Samsung processors and will utilize SiPix’s e-paper technology.

Now here’s the more interesting part, Asus is also looking into the possibility of launching a colored e-book reader right after it test marked response to the said two e-book readers.  This e-book reader with colored screen will most likely be released in Q4 2010.

Like what was previously reported, the 9-inch e-book reader will feature Wi-Fi, HSDPA, WiMAX and USB. It will support various e-book formats such as  PDF, TXT, MP3, ePub, HTML, JPEG, GIF, PNG and BMP.
