Here’s another e-book reader running on Android OS – the OPPO Enjoy E-Book Reader.  Aside from running on Android OS, this device boasts of a 6-inch 800×600 e-ink display with 16 shades of gray, 2GB of storage and microSD card slot that supports up  to 16GB of storage.

The Oppo Enjoy E-Book Reader supports TXT, HTML, CHM, EPUB, PDF, Microsoft files including doc, xls, and ppt. It can also render jpg, jpeg, bmp, png, GIF as well as playback mp3, wma, wav, ogg, aac and flac audios.

The device battery can max you out 8000 page turns. Pricing and release date is still unknown.

Remember the Samsung E6 E-Reader which was previewed during the CES 2010 in January? Well, it’s heading to the U.S. market pretty soon,  Spring soon actually. And guess what? Samsung was able to snag an e-book content distribution deal with Barnes and Noble.

Yes, you read it right, Barnes and Noble’s extensive catalog of e-books will be made available for the Samsung E6 E-Reader. So, you are assured of steady supply of e-book content should you decide to purchase the e-reader.

The Samsung E6 E-Reader features – a 6-inch e-ink display, support for e-pub, PDF/a, TXT, bmp and jpg, text-to-speech technology, built-in MP3 player, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, 2GB internal memory and microSD card slot for storage expansion.

The Samsung E6 E-Reader is set to debut at $299 price point. Good deal?

But if you can bear the eye strain may cost you, you might want to consider this e-book reader.  It is running on a 500Mhz ARM9 processor, has 5-inch display in 800×480 touchscree, 2 GB of RAM and running on Windows CE OS.

In addition, the Runwei A50 supports  TXT, HTML, PDF, WORD, XLS, PPT, ZIP, CHM, UMD.It can also display videos, audios, and pictures.

It seems like a pretty cool device, right? Un fortunately, there are no words on pricing and availability yet.

The folks at Engadget managed to get a quick hands-on of the much awaited Asus E-reader device, which is now officially called the Asus DR-950 E-Reader. The DR-950 sports a 9-inch SIPIX panel and features Wi-Fi, 3G option and multitouch feature.

This is in addition to what has been known so far about this e-reader namely, 4GB of storage, 3.5mm headphone jack, and support for various formats including PDF, TXT, MP3 and ePUB.

Unfortunately, no words on pricing and availability yet. Are you excited or what?

And will you be able to do with Kindle for BlackBerry? Same thing that you can do with Kindle e-Reader, and all the other apps for various platforms. These include:

Of course, if your eyes get tired of reading through the BlackBerry’s small screen, you can always read the ebooks you purchased on your PC via the Kindle for PC app. You don’t really have to transfer anything since, all your Kindle accounts are automatically synchronized with your Amazon account. Pretty neat?
